- The World Trade Organization.
- The European Patent Organization.
Bulgaria is a party to:
- The European Patent Convention,
- The Agreement of Trade-Related aspects of Intellectual Property Rights - TRIP‘s
- The Paris Convention
- The Madrid Agreement for the repression of false or deceptive indications of source on goods
- The Nairobi Treaty on the protection of the Olympic symbol
- The Patent Cooperation Treaty - PCT
- The Budapest Treaty of the international recognition of the deposit of microorganisms for the purposes of the patent procedure
- The Madrid Agreement concerning international registration of marks
- The Lisbon Agreement for the protection of appellations of origin and their international registration
- The Hague Agreement concerning the international deposit of industrial designs
- The Bern Convention for the protection of literary and artistic works
